Congratulations on beginning the journey of faith in the life of your child! Whether newly born, or a little older, meeting Jesus Christ in the Sacrament of Baptism is always a most joyous occasion in the life of a child. The family, too, shares this sense of jubilation, as does the entire Church community, the people of God.

Eritrean Families from the Ge'ez Rite are asked to register at St. Joseph Parish in Kitchener.
Please note that children in Grade 3 require extra preparation and will receive all 3 Sacraments of Initiation at the same Mass (Baptism, Confirmation & Holy Communion). This process requires several months.
You will be contacted by a member of our pastoral team to discuss the preparation for this great sacrament.
(Please note that currently, baptisms are usually celebrated on the last Sunday of the month at 1PM)
